Meets at 7pm on the last Tuesday of Each Month at the Coweta Public Library

The public library shall be governed by a board of directors consisting of five members selected from the residents of the city with reference to their fitness for such office by the mayor and city council.  Library board members serve without compensation.  They hold office for a term of three years from the first day of May following their appointment.  The adopt rules and regulations for their own guidance and for the governance and operation of the library as may be expedient and not inconsistent with the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state, subject to approval of the mayor.
