Junk Vehicles (Code Compliance)
The City is enforcing the junk vehicle ordinances and will be tagging such vehicles for removal from both public and private property. This is being done in an effort to keep Coweta looking good and safe for all residents. There is no fine imposed when the City removes these vehicles, however the owner must contact the Coweta Police Department for recover of the vehicle. If no contact is made within the time specified in the ordinance, the wrecker company has the right to sell the vehicle(s) to recover their costs of towing.

The Citizens of Coweta are proud of their community. They have gone to great lengths to beautify and make their community pleasing, safe, and healthy.
