City Attorney, David L. Weatherford, is a graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law, J.D., and Oklahoma State University, B.S. with Honors, 1979.  He has served as Coweta's City Attorney since 1988, representing the City in a wide range of legal matters.  Areas of practice, other than municipal, include general civil litigation and domestic law.  He is a partner in the firm of Birmingham, Morley, Weatherford & Priore, a professional Association.
