Wayne Steeley is the Director of the Coweta Maintenance Department.  Wayne has worked for the City of Coweta since April, 1985.  He has lived in Coweta for forty-nine years.  His wife, Sharon and daughter Karrie can be seen in the area riding their horses. 

Wayne performs skilled work in maintaining the City's vehicles and mechanical equipment.  He works under the general supervision of the City Manager. He plans, carries out, and evaluates preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles and mechanical equipment for the City of Coweta.  He operates a variety of diagnostic instruments. 

He is called upon to cut and welds metal and performs body repair, touch up, and related work.
