Movies Under the Stars : 'We Bought a Zoo' showing 07-10-2014

“Movies Under The Stars” is back! The second movie of our summer season is, “We Bought A Zoo”, will be shown Thursday, July 10, 2014 in the Jimmy Lee Campbell Memorial Park behind the Coweta Public Library. Families are invited to bring their lawn chairs, blankets and snacks and come to the park around 8:00P.M. There will be cartoons for the kids before the movie begins at dark. This is a free, fun event for the entire family. Remember no alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Burger King is now open in Coweta

We are excited to report that Burger King restaurant officially opened in Coweta on Monday morning, June 30, 2014, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company and franchise representatives, civic supporters, Chamber of Commerce representatives, and City Councilors and Staff.

Burger King is located at 13481 South Highway 51, replacing the former Taco Mayo restaurant.

This Grand Opening marks renewed activity along the busy Highway 51 corridor in Coweta.
